About Steve Toepp and Midwest Photographics
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography at the prestigious Columbia College in Chicago. Next, I began working for commercial studios and freelancing for certain departments at University of Notre Dame. (The Snite Museum of Art was my favorite!)
After I operated two large studio locations for many years, the Digital Generation emerged. In 2007, I pursued a degree in digital media. This recent degree, with its concentration in film and video, allowed me to expand Midwest Photographics’ services and to continue working on the front line of the industry.
Although formally trained in fine art and commercial photography, I found my passion for capturing people/portraits and special events became the majority of my business (over 800 weddings now).
My talent and experience are among my best assets. My desire to learn and pursue the latest innovations and gear in the industry propelled Midwest Photographics into a successful multimedia studio. Even more, we care about each client: the studio offers a comprehensive series of services that is personalized for your photography or multimedia needs. We can provide both photography and videography simultaneously with cost efficiency.
